Microsoft Exchange OnPrem Expert Location: Remote (Full-time, USA Time Zone hours) About M365Consult M365Consult is a fast-growing European consulting firm specializing in Microsoft solutions. We seek experienced Exchange OnPrem Administrators to support MSP clients primarily in hybrid Exchange environments, focusing on server hardening, upgrades, project work, and troubleshooting. Role Overview Maintain Microsoft Exchange servers and associated infrastructure across approximately 10 clients. 50% of time focused on server hardening and upgrades; the remaining 50% dedicated to project work, troubleshooting, and ticket resolution. Work in a mostly non-English environment with support tools like Google Translate. Key Responsibilities • Configure, manage, and maintain Exchange servers (2013/2016/2019), including upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting. • Address mail flow, database, and connectivity issues with clients. • Manage Edge Servers and E-Mail Security Gateways such as EOP, Proofpoint, OPEN Mission Control. • Handle email encryption and decryption tools/services like OME, Proofpoint, Totemo, SEPPMail, and HIN. • Use PowerShell for automation within Exchange OnPrem and O365. • Create and maintain documentation and troubleshooting procedures. Requirements • 5+ years Microsoft Exchange Server OnPrem administration experience. • Strong understanding of SMTP, POP3, IMAP protocols. • Experience with Exchange migrations, upgrades, patch management, and server hardening. • Excellent problem-solving and effective technical communication skills.
