Job Description
Position: Microsoft Power Platform ; Automation Specialist Location: Remote Company: U.S.–based distribution company We serve a global customer base, including numerous Fortune 100 companies. Responsibilities  Develop, maintain, and optimize Power Automate flows to streamline and automate business processes.  Build, update, and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards for operational and leadership insights.  Support and develop solutions across the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).  Update and maintain RDLC report layouts in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including sales invoices, purchase orders, and other document formats.  Assist with integrations between Microsoft systems and third-party applications as needed.  Troubleshoot issues within Power Platform automations and Business Central report layouts.  Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and design automated solutions.  Create and maintain technical documentation for developed automations and reports.  Leverage Microsoft Azure services and AI/ML tools to build intelligent automations, enhance reporting, and improve operational efficiency.  Provide basic IT support for employees, including troubleshooting common technical issues, assisting with software setups, and addressing general IT requests. Requirements  Hands-on experience with Power Automate, Power BI, and other Power Platform tools.  Ability to update and customize RDLC reports (Business Central or SQL Report Builder experience acceptable).  Experience with Microsoft Azure services and AI/ML tools used for business automation (required).  Strong understanding of business workflows and ability to translate them into automated solutions.  General IT troubleshooting capability and comfort assisting employees with routine technical issues.  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.  Ability to work independently in a remote environment.  Excellent communication and documentation skills  Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environments (functional experience is a plus; development experience not required).  Familiarity with SQL or basic data modeling concepts.  Experience integrating Power Platform solutions with third-party systems.
