Finance Intern - Data Science & Analytics

FROM DATA TO INSIGHT—POWERING REAL BUSINESS OUTCOMES We are looking for a high-potential, analytically driven Finance Intern who enjoys working with data and wants to see how data science is applied in real business and finance scenarios. As a Finance Intern, you will work closely with the Finance team to analyze data, build reports, and support decision-making using analytics. You will gain hands-on experience with financial datasets, analytical tools, and real-world business problems, helping you bridge the gap between classroom learning and industry application. WHAT YOU'LL DO '- Analyze financial data to support reports, dashboards, and management information systems (MIS) • Perform data cleaning, validation, reconciliation, and transformation on large financial datasets • Translate business and finance questions into data-driven insights in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders • Support month-end and year-end closing activities with a focus on data accuracy and quality • Conduct market, financial, and competitor analysis using quantitative and analytical methods • Assist in audits and internal reviews by ensuring data consistency, traceability, and documentation • Identify opportunities for process improvement through analytics, automation, and digital finance solutions WHAT YOU’LL BRING '- Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Strong interest in finance and data analytics • Proficiency in MS Excel • Working knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools • Strong numerical reasoning, analytical mindset and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to problem-solving • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams • Curiosity, learning agility, and interest in applying data science concepts to finance use cases WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU Known for our focus on providing fulfilling careers and a culture of Performance with Care, we are Ranked 19th amongst India’s Best Workplaces and 4th Among Asia’s Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work Institute® .
