The role is the custodian of fairness, differentiation, and economic value, while also acting as a driver of HR modernisation and business productivity through data, digitalisation, and technology-led interventions.
Responsibilities :
Total Rewards Strategy, Governance & Advisory
• Define, institutionalise, and continuously evolve the Total Rewards philosophy aligned to business strategy, growth ambitions, and organisational values across SBUs globally.
• Establish robust governance frameworks to ensure fairness, equity, consistency, and credibility of rewards decisions across levels, functions, and geographies for white and blue-collar staff.
• Act as a strategic advisor to the CHRO and Board on all matters related to rewards, pay differentiation, incentives, and cost trade-offs.
• Safeguard organisational trust by ensuring rewards outcomes are defensible, transparent, and aligned with performance and market realities.
Compensation Architecture, Pay-for-Performance & Incentives
• Design and govern the job architecture, salary structures, and pay bands, ensuring role clarity, internal parity, and market competitiveness.
• Own job evaluation frameworks and oversee role benchmarking to support consistent and unbiased pay decisions.
• Lead annual compensation cycles (merit, promotion, corrections) with strong controls, audit discipline, and decision rigour.
• Co-lead performance calibration with Talent / Performance leadership to drive meaningful differentiation and mitigate rating inflation or bias.
• Design, govern, and periodically review sales incentive plans to ensure strong linkage to business KPIs, productivity, and desired behaviours.
Market Intelligence, Rewards Analytics & Cost Stewardship
• Own participation in external compensation and benefits surveys and interpret market intelligence to guide salary positioning and rewards competitiveness.
• Build and leverage advanced rewards analytics including pay equity analysis, cost modelling, attrition correlation, and ROI assessment.
• Own Total Rewards budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modelling to balance talent competitiveness with cost predictability and sustainability.
• Provide data-driven insights to leadership to support informed rewards decisions and long-term workforce economics.
Compliance, Risk Management & Rewards Communication
• Ensure full compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to compensation and incentives.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to pay inequity, discrimination, and regulatory non-compliance.
• Lead the rewards communication strategy, equipping HRBPs and leaders with clear frameworks, tools, and talking points for effective and credible pay conversations.
• Reduce rewards-related escalations by improving transparency, understanding, and consistency.
HR Transformation & Productivity Projects

• HR analytics and data-driven decision-making
• Sales force productivity through incentive design, dashboards, and performance metrics
• Partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to ensure successful design, adoption, and impact of HR projects.
• Ensure HR transformation initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes, operational efficiency, improved decision quality, and enhanced employee experience.

Experience:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards / Compensation & Benefits
• Experience in large, complex, multi-population organisations preferred
• Exposure to HR transformation, HRIS, analytics, or sales incentive redesign preferred
