Job Description
As a member of the Reward Finance and Accounting team within the Human Capital Management (HCM) Division, you will be responsible for facilitating proper accounting, finance, and invoicing needs of the Reward Function, which includes Compensation, Benefits, and Mobility. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in month-end accounting close activities such as accruals, amortizations, reclasses, general ledger validation, and month-end charge backs - Analyze monthly-end P&L variances to ensure the validity of accounts and highlight trends - Assist in quarterly balance sheet substantiation and country exposure reporting as per SOX requirements - Engage in the quarterly budgeting/reforecast process - Assist with employee relocation compensation reporting - Undertake ad-hoc project work as needed - Facilitate invoice payments by coordinating with internal invoicing team, Accounts Payable, business leads, and external vendors - Validate invoices against firm policies and vendor contract terms - Track invoice payments to ensure appropriate invoice accruals Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce or CA Inter (IPC) - Minimum of 5 years of work experience in relevant finance and accounting, specifically on the expense side - Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel (e.g., SUMIF, IF, AND, OR functions, pivot tables, workbook management) - Strong understanding of finance and metrics management and reporting - Highly developed analytical and process management skills - Proven ability to succeed in and collaborate with fast-paced and cross-functional global teams such as accounts payable, payroll, business leads, and controllers - Strong communication skills Please note that the Reward Finance and Accounting team supports Benefits and Mobility, overseeing a range of benefits including healthcare, life/disability insurance, retirement expenses, and wellness programs, as well as services required for employee relocations for international and domestic assignments.
