Head of Finance and Accounting

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead our accounting function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a team of accounting professionals. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets and financial statements • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting • Review and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and integrity • Prepare and review tax returns, compliance reports, and statutory filings • Handle finalization of accounts independently • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Register, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation • Assist in preparation of Tax Audit Reports • Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing • Develop and implement internal controls and accounting policies • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 accountants Key Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • CA Inter / ICWA (CMA) qualification preferred • 6–8 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior accounting role • Strong expertise in account finalization • In-depth knowledge of GST, Income Tax, and statutory compliance • Working experience in Tally or ERP-based accounting systems • Knowledge of Company Law and regulatory frameworks • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Background • Experience in an audit firm or manufacturing company Why Join Us? • Opportunity to lead and build a strong accounting team • Exposure to end-to-end financial operations and compliance • Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment Apply Now If you are interested or know someone suitable, feel free to apply or share your profile.
