Accountant - Capital Accounting (FA & Capital Software)

As an Accountant at Unity, you will play a crucial role in the month-end close process and enhance the overall accounting processes within the organization. You should have a solid foundation in general accounting and experience in areas such as intercompany transactions, treasury management, operating expenses, capital expenditures, leasing, and payroll. • *Role Overview:** You will be responsible for: - Participating in Fixed Assets & Capital Software processes. - Conducting timely and accurate financial close processes, including preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations. - Assisting with reporting, financial statement preparation, and researching complex accounting issues for management. - Developing process improvements, supporting audits, and providing advice on accounting for new business initiatives. - Completing special projects, offering ad-hoc reporting, and delivering excellent customer service to stakeholders. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Bachelors degree in Business and/or Accounting - Chartered Accountant with a strong background in US GAAP and SOX is a plus - Strong team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Proven attention to detail • *Qualifications Required:** You may also possess: - Ability to handle shifting priorities and meet deadlines - Proactive attitude towards learning and trying new things - Experience working with team members across different geographies - Familiarity with Workday Financials and/or Netsuite is advantageous - Proficiency in Excel and BI tools Unity does not offer relocation support or work visa/immigration sponsorship for this position.
