Job Description
As a Legal Counsel in our company, your role involves independently drafting and vetting funding facility documents, deed of hypothecation, guarantee agreements, and other legal documents related to banks, FIs, and mutual funds. You will negotiate confidently on legal terms and conditions with other parties to ensure the protection of the company's interests. Additionally, you will assist in preparing processes, policies, and launching new products from a legal and compliance perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently draft and vet funding facility documents, deed of hypothecation, guarantee agreements, and other legal documents.
- Negotiate confidently on legal terms and conditions with other parties.
- Assist in preparing processes, policies, and launching new products from a legal and compliance perspective.
- Understand securitization and assignment of receivables transactions from a legal perspective.
- Ensure group standards are reflected in financing agreements to protect the company's interest.
Qualification Required:
- Rich experience in drafting/reviewing financing and security documents in private practice or in-house role related to banking and finance.
- Hands-on knowledge of Indian Contract Act, Transfer of Property Act, Companies Act, Bankruptcy Laws, FEMA, SEBI regulations, RBI guidelines, etc.
- Relevant experience of 4-6 years.
- LL.B/LL.B (H) from a reputed National Law Universities.
